Fine Vintage Three-Stone Ring with Colombian Emerald and Diamonds

The fact that the sight of this ring makes you think of the tropical jungle is not only due to the color of the wonderful emerald in its center. The best emeralds have always been found in Colombia, so they themselves come from the middle of the jungle. And when the light plays inside such a stone, the most beautiful images of a sprawling, paradisiacal environment come to mind all by themselves. Here, such a beguiling excursion into the tropical forest is set between two brilliant-cut diamonds weighing a total of around 1.60 ct. The two diamonds on the right and left frame the emerald and make the ring a classic trilogy ring. The Colombian emerald itself is deep green and yet has a warm glow. Fine inclusions, the so-called "jardin", lend it a soft light. The ring sets the gemstones in white gold. They are arranged in a row across the finger and are also very flat, making the ring comfortable to wear. The ring is about as wide as the finger and has a powerful presence thanks to the large stones. The elegant curve and compact shape of the design allow us to date the ring to the 1950s. According to its hallmarks, it was made in Vienna.
