[First Edition] Pony Tracks Sprigge, Elizabeth [Used - Very good] [Hardcover]

First edition, hardcover, bound in dark green cloth. Spine ends bumped; corners remain sharp and pointed. Foxing to the page-block edges, preliminary leaves, and endpapers, with discoloration from the jacket flaps on the endpapers. Internally tight and crisp, with ten black-and-white illustrations by Lionel Edwards. In the original unclipped dust jacket, with a small repair at the head of the spine; jacket otherwise free from fading or discoloration. This is a story of children and ponies in the New Forest. Georgina and Nicholas are rather annoyed at first to hear that a strange girl is coming to spend the holidays with them; they are afraid that she will upset their plans. But when Pat actually turns up, all sorts of exciting things begin to happen.
