[First Edition] Theodore Roosevelt Lord Charnwood [Used - Very good] [Hardcover]

Theodore Roosevelt has always been a favorite role model for me, since I was young. My father worked in the Roosevelt Savings Bank in Brooklyn, New York, named for Theodore Roosevelt and so I would hear of his exploits from early on. I was surprised to find a biography of Teddy Roosevelt written by an English nobleman. I have had lots of Roosevelt's books and/or books about him but this one is less common. What's really less common is to find this book in very good condition. Wait til you see it! Condition: The hard covers are bright and clean with bright gilt titles on the cover but a bit subdued on the spine. The boards show some minor bumping and a scratched patch on the top of the rear board. Inside, a former owner has left his name and address on the front endpaper but this is the only mark I found in the book. Actually, what will surprise you about this book, is that the interior pages have been maintained in such a clean and bright state, without flaw or blemish. Both hinges are intact and the binding is tight, sound and square. This book is not ex-library or a remainder.
