Alle Auktionen / Zeitgenössische Kunst / Flavia Delgado - COCONUT XL
“Coconut” is a painting by Flavia Delgado that celebrates the summer imaginary through an aesthetic inspired by Pop Art, vintage advertising, and retro travel posters. A coconut turned into a tropical drink takes center stage in the composition, accompanied by a pink parasol, an orange slice, a straw, and a pair of sunglasses. The work uses a vibrant combination of turquoise blue, pink, yellow, orange, and earth tones, with black outlines and surfaces of intense color that give it a strong graphic presence. The large word “COCONUT” and the small seal “100% NATURAL” reinforce its mid-20th-century advertising look. The composition evokes beaches, vacations, tropical cocktails, and resort culture, visually linking with Pop Art, travel posters, mid-century design, and American advertising of the 1950s and 1960s. “Coconut” is especially appealing to collectors of Pop Art, tropical art, vintage posters, retro advertising, American culture, and contemporary figurative painting. SHIPPING: The work is offered directly by FLAVIA DELGADO, guaranteeing its authenticity with a certificate signed by the artist herself. The painting (UNFRAMED) will be carefully rolled and protected inside a sturdy cardboard tube for shipping. After payment is confirmed, a period of three days is required to prepare the piece and ship it. Delivery time will depend on the destination, with a maximum of up to ten business days.
