Flavia Delgado - RIDE HARD XL

RIDE HARD is a painting of 70 x 100 cm by Flavia Delgado inspired by classic biker culture and the visual aesthetics of American pop art. The work shows a custom motorcycle in the foreground wrapped in intense flames, creating an image loaded with speed, rebellion and energy. The vibrant red background and the black and yellow contrasts enhance the aggressive and cinematic character of the composition. The text “RIDE HARD” functions as a direct statement of freedom and attitude. More than a reference to the world of motorcycles, the phrase conveys a philosophy of life linked to risk, intensity and the need to live without limits. Flavia Delgado combines references from vintage comics, old advertising posters and American rock iconography to build a visually powerful and contemporary image. The thick black lines, simplified shapes and the reduced palette recall the graphic language of classic posters and mid-20th-century pulp illustrations. The motorcycle appears almost as a symbol of absolute independence, while the flames reinforce the sense of movement and adrenaline. The piece conveys visual strength and a defiant spirit that connects with retro aesthetics and the rebellious imagery of popular culture. RIDE HARD is a dynamic and decorative work, conceived to bring personality, character and a strong visual presence to the space.
