Alle Auktionen / Zeitgenössische Kunst / Flavia Delgado - SUNDAY POLO XL (NO RESERVE)
SUNDAY POLO is a painting by Flavia Delgado that revisits the aesthetics of vintage sports and advertising posters to depict an elegant polo scene. Several riders on horseback occupy the field, with a central figure in the foreground that structures the composition and conveys the pause and concentration before the game. The work combines bold, expressive black outlines with large areas of flat color, highlighting the bright green of the lawn, the whites of the clothing, the warm tones of the horses, and small accents of red and turquoise. The palm trees and the architecture in the background add an atmosphere of classic sports club, leisure, and sophistication. With echoes of travel and sports posters from the mid-20th century, editorial illustration, and contemporary Pop Art, Sunday Polo transforms equestrian tradition into a graphic, elegant, and current image. A work especially appealing to collectors of pop art, vintage posters, equestrian art, polo, horses, and retro sports aesthetics. SHIPPING: The work is offered directly by FLAVIA DELGADO, guaranteeing its authenticity with a certificate signed by the artist herself. The painting (UNFRAMED) will be carefully rolled and protected inside a sturdy cardboard tube for shipping. Upon payment confirmation, a period of three days is required to prepare the piece and ship it. Delivery time will depend on the destination, with a maximum timeframe of up to ten business days.
