Alle Auktionen / Sonstige / Floor lamp - Ceramic - Ugo Zaccagnini lamp
A refined table lamp by the Italian ceramicist Ugo Zaccagnini, made of ceramic. This piece is a textbook example of the craftsmanship and artistic vision for which Zaccagnini's work is renowned, dating from the mid-20th century. The lamp is characterized by its striking silhouette, combining classical forms with a luxurious finish. The base of the lamp is shaped like a column on a square plinth, executed in a deep red and white glaze. The base is richly adorned with hand-painted gold details, including classical motifs such as laurel wreaths and acanthus leaves, giving the lamp a neoclassical appearance. The matching lampshade features a marbled pattern in red and orange tones with gold accents, producing a warm and atmospheric light. The underside is stamped with the characteristic 'Z' of Zaccagnini and 'Made in Italy'. In overall good condition, this vintage piece carries the character appropriate to its age and history. The original finish of both the ceramic base and the lampshade has been well preserved, contributing to the object's authentic charm. This Zaccagnini table lamp is an elegant statement piece that fits perfectly in a Hollywood Regency or classic interior. It functions both as a source of ambient lighting on a sideboard or coffee table, and as a decorative art object that adds a touch of Italian design to any space.
