D. van der Meulen & Zoon of Joure. The forks are distinguished by a high-quality two-tone finish: the cleanly stylized floral motif is finely engraved against a finely matte (satin-finished) background, creating an attractive depth contrast with the highly polished tines. Where serving and small silver by Van der Meulen during the interwar period were almost universally minted in 2nd quality (.833), this luxury set is made in the historical Dutch first-grade standard (.934). Comes in a matching presentation case.
