The design breathes the same energy and immediacy as the fashion and music culture that inspires Diesel: graphic, bold, and unmistakably present. The lamp is characterized by an irregular, faceted outer structure reminiscent of volcanic rock, contrasted with a high-gloss interior with an almost crystalline appearance. When the Rock is lit, the interior becomes a vibrant landscape of light: the many facets amplify and break up the light, creating an intense, layered glow that subtly shifts with the viewing angle. The tension between the rugged exterior form and the refined interior lies at the heart of the design. The Foscarini Rock functions as a pronounced, almost architectural statement.
