Foscarini - Hanging lamp - Diesel Glass Large - Glass, Metal

An industrial form of light in which reflection and glow balance each other. Designed by Diesel Creative Team for Foscarini, the Diesel Glas Grande offers a contemporary interpretation of classic factory lighting, combining robust design with refined materials. The design is characterized by a hand-blown glass shade with a chromed finish. When unlit, the surface is mirrored and subtly reflects the surroundings, giving the lamp a closed, graphic appearance. When the lamp is lit, its character changes: the glass lets through a warm, diffuse light that is dispersed both downward and around. This play between reflection and transparency forms the core of the design. In space, the Diesel Glas Grande functions as a pronounced yet controlled lighting accent. Above a dining table, in a living room or hallway, the lamp brings atmosphere and presence without becoming decorative. Within Foscarini's Diesel collection, this design represents the fusion of industrial references and contemporary lighting performance.
