As big and rich as the world of jewellery is - for men there are only a few objects that can be harmonized with a classic wardrobe. A ring is opportune, cufflinks too, of course. But after that, it quickly becomes difficult to maintain the balance between individuality and good taste. The pin, worn in earlier times on the plastron or tie, is one of the few classic options here. Also worn on the lapel, it can accompany the formal wardrobe as well as the rather less formal suit or a casually worn jacket. Here now is a small collection of four gold pins that cover a span of about 80 years from the turn of the century before last to the late 20th century. The pins show hunting motifs as showpieces. We see a horseshoe with a switch, another horseshoe made of garnets, the head of a duck and two grandels with oak leaves. The pins are all very nicely preserved. They have reached us together and we have therefore decided to offer them together: as a nice way to be equipped with four at a time for hunting or riding.
