Description: Elegant and refined antique casket frame in gilded wood with decorative plaster, dating to the 19th century and attributable to the manufacture of the Veneto area. The model stands out for its strong plastic impact and the richness of the moldings: the outer edge is decorated with a dense bead relief (godronatura), followed by a smooth groove and an inner beaded profile that tightens toward the rabbet. The external corners are enriched with delicate foliate details. The front gilding is beautifully preserved, characterized by a warm, radiant sheen that enhances the carved details, accompanied by a minimal patina of age coherent with the object's age. The back shows the era-appropriate wooden structure in excellent structural condition, never touched or modified, complete with an antique suspension eyelet. From private collection.
