Francesco De Felice (XX) - Natura morta

Oil on canvas Still life Italian school 20th century Signed De Felice at bottom left Good condition With patina Dimensions: 51x71; 32x51 outside the frame The work is faithful to the great painting tradition of the Flemish masters and the Italian Baroque, and it stands out for an exceptional chromatic balance: the liveliness of the citrus fruits, apples and cherries emerges vigorously from a dark enveloping background, dominated by the transparencies of a green glass ampoule. The gilded, contemporary frame is in molded wood and enriched by the vintage label “De Felice.” Provenance: noble Sicilian family Tracked shipping via courier N.B. The frame is provided as a courtesy. Any damage caused during transport is not a reason for complaint or cancellation of the sale. There may be variations in the cost of the shipping estimate, and I will be transparent in highlighting such costs.
