Francesco Farolfi - Rue Chanoinesse a Parigi (Au Vieux Parisi d'arcole)

Rue Chanoinesse – Au Vieux Paris Oil on canvas, 60 × 60 Year 2026 Original oil painting on canvas depicting one of the most evocative corners of Île de la Cité, in the heart of historic Paris. The view immortalizes the characteristic façade of the famous bistrot Au Vieux Paris d'Arcole, in Rue Chanoinesse, with the outdoor tables bathed in the shade of the trees and the soft light of a summer day. The work does not seek a photographic representation of the place, but interprets its atmosphere through a luminous painting, rich in chromatic variations and brushstrokes that suggest the movement of the foliage and the reflections of light on surfaces. Entirely handmade with oil paints on canvas, the painting is a unique piece, signed by the artist on the front and back. The work is shipped carefully packaged with a certificate of authenticity Francesco Farolfi (Florence, 1958) lives and works in Florence.
