Francesco Torti (Modena, November 30, 1658 – Modena, February 15, 1741) was an Italian physician and anatomist. Beautiful typographic vignette with a tree on the title page. Numerous historiated initials finely engraved, as well as tailpieces. Large plate out of text, folded several times to p. 666, depicting a kind of genealogical tree of fevers. Ex libris affixed to the flyleaf. Sporadic stains, mostly marginal. Copy in excellent conservation state, complete and usable.
