With these paintings we aim to represent the woman beyond society’s stereotypes: her essence, her humanity, her fragility and, at the same time, her strength. The choice of color, in its monochromatic, slightly sepia-toned, intends to convey a sense of mystery, of lived experience and/or memory. The veil that envelops the woman has multiple meanings: the part that gently wraps around her body is pink, almost merging with her own skin; while the remaining part of it seeks to represent, through its tension, the influence of the social stereotype of a strong, emancipated, beautiful and slender woman. The title of the artwork aims to aid understanding by using adjectives or names linked to its intention to humanize it and to grasp its essence.
