Fred Arends was born in 1949. After studying at the Academy of Fine Arts, he developed into painting very detailed works. He is driven and very talented. A modern painter who works with traditional methods. He is mainly inspired by the great Dutch masters of the 19th century (Romantic school), such as Andreas Schelfhout and Cornelis Springer.
