Artist information: Originally from Finistère Sud, Frédéric CADIOU “Fred” draws from Breton landscapes an inspiration firmly rooted in light and horizon. His works capture suspended moments where nature dialogues with human perception. Projected shadows, elongated lines, minimalist compositions: each painting reveals a subtle tension between depth and minimalism. Through a controlled palette and pronounced contrasts, the artist creates calm, almost meditative atmospheres. The gaze is guided toward the horizon, between silence, space and contemplation. A painting where light structures the landscape and where shadow becomes language. The current Akoun appraisal for Frédéric Cadiou is €1350 for a 15P format (65x50cm).
