"One more day" belongs to the Paleohunter series, the primitive universe of FREEON where cave art becomes a contemporary language. A family of Paleolithic hunters seems to be preparing to begin a new journey, gathered among symbols, gazes and figures of ancestral strength. Black and white lends rawness and mystery, while fuchsia accents introduce energy and rebellion. The work evokes survival, unity and the impulse to keep going: one more day to fight, discover and exist. A current look at our most remote origins. I am a self-taught Spanish visual artist, based in Alicante, who develops a language of my own within neo-expressionism rooted in rock art. My work arises from absolute creative freedom and a visceral need for expression. I work from intuition and the energy of the moment, in an environment where chill-out music helps me enter an almost ritual state. From there emerge my new figures: symbolic beings, primitive and contemporary at the same time, that seem to come from an ancestral civilization but speak from the present. Rock art is not for me an aesthetic reference, but an active memory. Its essential lines, its graphic power and its symbolic character transform into a renewed language, charged with emotion, color and expressionist tension. I create figures that reinterpret the primitive from a contemporary vision, building a bridge between the ancestral and the futuristic. I am in constant evolution, exploring techniques, materials and narratives that expand my visual universe.
