FROMENTIN Eugène / DEMEURISSE René - Dominique - 1949

Two small folio volumes (35 x 27 cm): "Dominique" by Eugène Fromentin, illustrated by René Demeurisse; 217 pages, unbound, uncut under an illustrated slipcase with a raised edge and a pale green cardboard case. The second case, of the same format and the same color, contains the lithographs by René Deumeurisse "Suite des pointes sèches"—a set in black and a set in sanguine with notes; a set in black and a set in sanguine of the definitive state. Limited edition of 240 copies. Ours, on Lana watermark paper, bears the number 4. The two cases are housed in a cardboard box, always of the same color (the green is a little faded). Very good condition, a beautiful set.
