Alle Auktionen / Teppiche & Textilien / Gabbeh - Rug - 243 cm - 142 cm - Indo-Gabbeh
This hand-knotted Gabbeh rug is characterized by a particularly fine, continuous stripe pattern and a strong, warm color impression. The entire surface is designed with narrow horizontal lines that run across the rug in a slightly irregular rhythm, giving it a lively, artisanal texture. The deliberately slightly irregular lines emphasize the hand-knotted character of the rug. A medallion or classical ornamentation is entirely omitted – the effect arises solely from color, rhythm, and texture. With its dimensions of 243 × 142 cm, the rug is particularly suitable for living, sleeping, or working areas and creates a warm, distinctive accent there.
