Gaby Acevedo - Mar - Calarena (XL)

“Calarena” is a work of art from my “Sea” Series that sits at the point where the coast becomes presence and the landscape gains a serene rhythm. The piece proposes an open space of calm, where land and sea coexist naturally and the horizon becomes a place of contemplation. "Calarena" is a painting that invites you to pause and enter a sense of balance, like a fragment of the Mediterranean that remains. Details of the work: • "Mar - Calarena" is a contemporary abstract work, unique and original, wholly hand-made with professional acrylic on cotton canvas. • Dimensions of the work: 100 cm × 81 cm. • Created directly in my studio. • Canvas size: The canvas measures approximately 110 cm × 88 cm, including the margin required for its new mounting on a frame of 100 cm × 81 cm × 2 cm (approximately). • Finish and protection: The work is protected with a professional satin varnish, which preserves the intensity of the colors and ensures its conservation over time. • Unique and original work: Painted entirely by hand, signed and dated on the back by the visual artist Gaby Acevedo, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Presentation: • The work has been created on a canvas previously tensioned on a frame. To ensure safe transport, it is carefully shipped rolled in a high-strength rigid tube. The edges are painted as a continuation of the composition and the canvas retains the necessary margin for its new mounting on a frame. • The work does not include a frame or decorative surround. • For an optimal finish, it is recommended that mounting be carried out by a professional. Shipping: • The work is carefully shipped rolled in a high-strength rigid tube. • Insured shipping with tracking number. • Includes certificate of authenticity. • Shipments to the Canary Islands (Spain): €48. • Additional information: Colors and nuances may vary slightly according to each screen’s settings. The ambient images are digital representations for illustration purposes and show a possible presentation of the work once mounted or framed. About the artist: My name is Gaby Acevedo. I am a visual artist. I live and produce my works in Spain. For more than 25 years I have developed an artistic practice centered on contemporary abstract painting, where color, matter and collage are the pillars of my visual language. My work arises from observation and dialogue with landscapes, the spaces we inhabit and the footprints they leave in our memory. Each series responds to a different research, but all share the purpose of transforming experience into a visual language open to emotion and free interpretation. Each work is unique and entirely handmade in my studio with high-quality professional materials. All my paintings are signed, dated, and delivered with a certificate of authenticity."
