“Édafos” is a work of art from my series "Dream World,” an imagined territory that doesn’t belong to any known map yet is built through planes and layers that suggest a geography of its own. The piece presents an abstract space where shapes relate to outline a region open to multiple interpretations, like a fragment of a dream map. In “Édafos,” the territory is revealed by zones and structures that invite you to explore it, forming part of this world that only exists within the painting. Details of the work: • "Dream World - Édafos" is a contemporary abstract work, unique and original, created entirely by hand with professional acrylics on cotton canvas. • Dimensions of the work: 100 cm × 100 cm. • Created directly in my studio. • Canvas size: The canvas measures approximately 110 cm × 110 cm, including the margin necessary for its new mounting on a 100 cm × 100 cm × 2 cm frame (approximately). • Finish and protection: The work is protected with a professional satin varnish, which preserves the intensity of the colors and ensures its longevity. • Unique and original work: Painted entirely by hand, signed and dated on the back by visual artist Gaby Acevedo, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. I am a visual artist. I live and produce my works in Spain. For more than 25 years I have been developing an artistic practice focused on contemporary abstract painting, where color, matter, and collage are the pillars of my visual language. My work arises from observation and dialogue with landscapes, the spaces we inhabit, and the traces they leave in our memory. Each series answers a different inquiry, but all share the purpose of transforming experience into a visual language open to emotion and free interpretation.
