German .935 Sterling Silver and Enamel Nautical Cigarette Case

Curved rectangular case featuring a hand-painted polychrome enamel scene of a gaff-rigged sailing yacht on the front cover. The interior is finished with a gold-washed vermeil surface and contains a spring-loaded retention bar. The interior rim is stamped with the word STERLING and the word GERMANY, alongside a small rectangular mark containing the numbers 935. The reverse side consists of plain polished silver.
