Gianni Versace - MOD S65 COL 31L - Sunglasses

For collectors and vintage archive enthusiasts, a piece of fashion history: original Gianni Versace sunglasses, model MOD S65 in color COL 31L (tortoiseshell acetate frame/havana with iconic metal details in a glossy gold finish). Mid-1990s, the “Golden Era” of Gianni Versace, an absolute icon of the era’s pop culture. The eyewear is NEW OLD STOCK (NOS). Kept intact for about thirty years, it has never been worn, sold, or registered on anyone’s face. • Perfect frame, glossy and brilliant acetate, gold finishes and three‑dimensional Medusa medallions completely free of oxidation or micro-scratches. Tensioned and stable hinges as factory original. Lenses of the era produced by the historic Italian manufacturer Italo Cremona for Versace. As per 1990s standards, the lenses are completely clean and free of logos or laser-engraved markings; they are high-definition optical polycarbonate brown lenses, immaculate and without the slightest sign of aging. • The original case from the period unfortunately deteriorated internally due to time and is not present. The sunglasses are supplied with a high‑quality alternative protective case. • The eyewear bears the stamp MOD S65 COL 31L on the right temple with no punctuation after the word “MOD.” This graphic variant (characterized by the triple mechanical spacing before the code) is widely documented and certified in the Italo Cremona historical records for specific production lots from the 1990s, attesting to total historical consistency pre-Luxottica. Maximum accuracy of the Gianni Versace institutional font hot-stamped on the left temple and mechanical punch engraving on the inner metal bridge. Original nose pads of the era are transparent silicone with a tiny gold metal bead engraved “VERSACE” embedded inside, oriented correctly for frontal reading. • Lenses: Features original 1990s lenses produced by the historic Italian manufacturer Italo Cremona for Versace. In line with ’90s standards, the high-definition brown optical polycarbonate lenses are completely clean and free of logos or laser-etchings. They remain immaculate and free from the slightest signs of aging. • Packaging & Accessories: Please note that the original period case is not included as it naturally deteriorated over time. The sunglasses will be safely shipped inside a high-quality alternative protective case. • Authenticity Details (Pre-Luxottica Era): • The inner left temple features the model code stamped as “MOD S65 COL 31L” without punctuation after “MOD,” separated by the documented triple mechanical spacing typical of specific Italo Cremona production lots from this era. • The inner right temple displays the hot-stamped iconic Gianni Versace institutional font. • Mechanical hallmark engraving is visible on the inner metallic bridge.
