Vintage Gianni Versace Black Blazer – Made in Italy – Late 1980s / Early 1990s – Exceptional Italian Tailoring An absolutely stunning vintage Gianni Versace blazer from the golden era of Italian fashion, most likely dating to the late 1980s or early 1990s. A beautiful example of the sophisticated, minimalist side of Gianni Versace’s tailoring, combining a powerful, architectural silhouette with an exceptionally lightweight and relaxed construction. The blazer features strikingly broad, structured shoulders, generous lapels, an elongated silhouette and an elegant single-button closure. Clean, flapless welt pockets complete the beautifully understated design. What makes this piece particularly special is its construction. Despite the strong, defined shoulders, the body is almost entirely unlined and remarkably lightweight, crafted from an exceptionally fine, smooth fabric with a beautiful drape. The material is so finely woven that it becomes slightly translucent when held against the light. Likely a fine wool fabric, although the original composition label is missing.
