Alle Auktionen / Fotografien / Gijsbert Hanekroot - David Gilmour, Amsterdam, 1972
David Gilmour of Pink Floyd performs live at Amsterdam Rock Circus at the Olympisch Stadium in Amsterdam, Netherlands on May 22 1972. Digital print on 250 g/m2 Fine Art Paper, signed and blind stamped. Size 30 x 40 cm. Edition 13 of 200. Shipped well packed. Gijsbert Hanekroot (Brussels, 1945) started his career in 1969 and worked for magazines and newspapers in the 1970s. His career as a photojournalist fits in perfectly with the explosion of the rock scene and he masterfully documented this golden age of music history - and photographed many of the greatest icons of the time. Gijsbert strived to capture images that revealed the man behind the musician. Trying to express a deeper truth about his subjects resulted in portraits that are natural and intimate, relaxed and sincere. And in dazzling concert photos. The photographer is represented by galleries in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Madrid, London, Bologna, Munich, Belgrade and Schiedam, Netherlands.
