Alle Auktionen / Zeitgenössische Kunst / Gioppè Di Bella (1945-2007) - Spazio Linea
Artistic vision and emotional impact. Immerse your contemporary collection in the rigorous and radical poetry of the late 20th-century Italian Spatialism with this magnificent and historic abstract canvas by the Milanese master Giuseppe Di Bella (Gioppé). Titled "Spazio - Linea" and created in 1987, this work represents a direct and sophisticated evolution of the conceptual innovations introduced by Lucio Fontana and the Milanese spatial avant-garde. The composition is minimalist and highly impactful: a monochrome canvas of a vibrant, intense mint/turquoise green deliberately interrupted by three sharp vertical slashes. These slashes are elegantly interconnected and tensioned by a deep cobalt blue cord that physically traverses the space of the canvas, creating a beautiful spatial and philosophical dialogue between surface, void, and line. Splendidly isolated within its original black box-frame, this museum-style artwork serves as a central elite element of great impact for modern architectural lofts and refined collections of abstract art. Technical characteristics, archival data and inscriptions: The back of the panel serves as an immaculate and indisputable certificate of authenticity, entirely handwritten and signed by the artist himself: Artist signature: Signed "Gioppé 1987" (the famous studio contraction used by Giuseppe Di Beautiful). Official title: Handwritten "SPACE - LINE". Studio provenance: Detailed address written by the artist: "Studio: Via Ugo Tommei, 3 - 20137 Milano". Condition report: Exceptional, pristine conservation status ready for gallery (perfect conditions). The textile canvas, the cuts and the original blue cord are perfectly taut and stable. The original black box-frame is fully solid and impeccable. Conditions: Excellent. Material: Oil / Acrylic and cord on canvas board. Technique: Mixed media on cut canvas; Period: 20th century / Official year: 1987. Color: Saturated aqua/mint green, cobalt blue, deep black of the box-frame. Signature: Present, titled and dated entirely by hand by the artist on the back. Dimensions of the painting: 24 cm x 30 cm. The lot will be adequately packaged and shipped with contracted couriers and online tracking. For this lot, shipments outside the European Community are not made.
