Giovanni Battista Antonibon - Tureen - Ceramic, Glaze - Antique duck tureen

Antique duck-shaped ceramic tureen dating from the late 19th century. Signed G.B*; the initials refer to Giovanni Battista Antonibon, founder in 1727 of the Novese manufactory, whose legacy and original 18th-century prints were passed to the Barettoni family starting from 1907. The typical white glaze with a burnt-terra finish visible on the rough edge of the base faithfully reflects the traditional materials of the Novese earthenware or kaolin used for these pieces. Generous dimensions: length 33 cm, width 17 cm, height 19 cm. Perfect in every part. Fast, professional shipping throughout Europe.
