Giovanni Domenico Tiepolo (after) - Le menuet

Large decorative tapestry of mechanical weaving and Venetian Rococo-inspired design, based on the work «Le Menuet» (The Minuet) by Giovanni Domenico Tiepolo (1727-1804), renowned Italian painter of the Venetian school. The composition depicts an elegant scene from the Venice Carnival, set in the 18th century, with numerous characters dressed in sumptuous period costumes, masks, hats, and cloaks, evoking the festive, gallant, and theatrical atmosphere of Venetian society. In the center stands a classical sculpture on a pedestal, surrounded by Comedy dell'Arte figures, ladies and gentlemen, in a garden-like setting with trees and ornamental architectural elements. The scene presents a rich chromatic variety in shades of blue, green, ochre, and reddish tones, framed by an elaborate frieze of floral and ornamental motifs. Tapestry made according to the original composition by Giovanni Domenico Tiepolo, «Le Menuet» (After Giovanni Domenico Tiepolo), which reproduces the refinement, theatricality, and festive character characteristic of 18th-century Venetian painting. A large-format piece with notable decorative presence, ideal for grand salons, princely spaces, classic environments, or interiors with palatial inspiration. Tapestry measurements: 169 cm high x 216 cm wide The condition of the tapestry is very good
