A beautiful and historically interesting hand-blown crystal paperweight / glass art object from 1993. This sphere was produced at the well-known Drentse Glasmuseum and Glasatelier "De Spiraal" in Hoogeveen, founded by the renowned Dutch glass pioneer Cees van Olst. The paperweight features a technically very deftly executed, dynamic spiral form in the bright primary colors red, blue and green, gracefully winding around a central, controlled air bubble. The object reflects light in a brilliantly stunning way.
