Rare Pepper and Salt Shakers Pair – Gucci – Silver-plated Brass – Made in Italy – 1970s/1980s Splendid and rare pair of Gucci salt shaker and pepper shaker, shaped like small birds and crafted in silver-plated brass with rich relief detailing. Both pieces clearly bear the inscription “GUCCI – MADE IN ITALY” at the base, a detail that confirms their authenticity and origin from the vintage production of the Florentine house. These are hard-to-find items, highly valued by collectors of luxury tableware and by fans of Gucci design from the golden years. Features Brand: Gucci Origin: Made in Italy Type: Salt shaker and pepper shaker Material: Gold-toned metal (alloy with gold finish) Technique: Casting with carved relief details Dimensions: Salt shaker (larger): approx. 8 × 5 × 5 cm Pepper shaker (smaller): approx. 7 × 4 × 4 cm Total weight: about 450 g Description Refined objects full of personality, with the typical Gucci aesthetics of the 1970s–1980s: compact shapes, meticulous details and a splendid golden patina. The surfaces feature a highly decorative feather motif that gives the two sculptures an elegant and distinctive character. Both items are equipped with the bottom hole for refilling and use, coherent with their function as salt and pepper shakers. Perfect to enrich a formal table, as collectable pieces, or as high-class decorative elements. Conditions Given their age, they are presented in good vintage condition, with light signs of time on the surface. Images are an integral part of the description.
