Hamilton - Khaki Field Automatic – H706250 – ETA 2824-2 –...

Hamilton – Khaki Field Automatic – H706250 – ETA 2824-2 – 44 mm – circa 2010 Description Hamilton Khaki Field Automatic, reference H706250, circa 2010, belonging to the generation of the Khaki Field equipped with the renowned Swiss automatic movement ETA 2824-2. This reference was already marketed in 2010, so this example can be placed approximately in the early years of the 2010s. It features a large stainless steel case of approximately 44 mm without counting the crown — 44.3 mm according to the measurement shown in the photographs — and the characteristic black military-inspired dial of the Khaki Field collection. The dial combines large Arabic numerals with an inner 24-hour scale, peripheral minute track, luminescent hands and markers, and a date window at 3 o’clock. Inside it houses the prestigious ETA 2824-2 with 25 jewels, a Swiss mechanical automatic movement used by Hamilton before the generalization of the later H-10 calibers. It runs at 28,800 vph and provides approximately 40 hours of power reserve. The same H706250/ETA 2824-2 combination is documented in specimens of this reference. The movement is visible through the transparent case back, with a HAMILTON-signed rotor. Specifications: Hamilton Khaki Field Automatic; reference H706250; approximate year circa 2010; Swiss Made; automatic caliber ETA 2824-2; 25 jewels; 28,800 A/h; approximate power reserve of 40 hours; date at 3; stainless steel case; 44 mm diameter (44.3 mm measured on this example); sapphire crystal; crown signed Hamilton; exhibition case back; water resistance indicated on the case back as 10 bar / 145 PSI. It is currently presented with a green textile NATO strap, which pairs especially well with the model’s military aesthetics. The watch shows normal signs of use, visible in the photographs. The dial, hands, case, crown, and movement are shown in detail and the photographs form part of the description. An attractive Hamilton Khaki Field from circa 2010, especially interesting for mounting the ETA 2824-2, one of the best-known and highly regarded Swiss automatic movements for its robustness and ease of maintenance. Shipping type: Worldwide shipping by express registered mail, UPS; SEUR, DHL or similar. It does not include customs duties; if any are due, the buyer would pay them.
