Hanging lamp - Glass, Brass - Vintage pendant lamp

Large Vintage Murano Glass 'Swirl' Pendant Light – Brass Fixture – 1970s Pendant light made of mouth-blown Murano glass, produced in Italy in the 1970s. This lamp was imported at the time and certified for the North European market, as evidenced by the original German BSp approval label on the inside of the ceiling cap. The shade is made of high-quality, semi-transparent opal glass with the iconic, blown 'swirl' or whirl pattern. This relief creates an incredibly diffused and atmospheric light effect when the lamp is lit. The glass is complemented by a stylish, solid brass fixture with a characteristic hanging ring and a matching gold-colored ceiling cap. • Origin: Italy (glass) / Distributed in Germany • Period: 1970s (Mid-Century Modern) • Material: Mouth-blown Murano glass and brass (fixture). • Condition: In very good vintage condition. The glass is completely intact with no chips, cracks, or deep scratches. The brass has a beautiful, authentic patina that suits the object's age. The wiring is present and the fixture has been technically checked. A timeless design icon that fits perfectly in both a vintage, Hollywood Regency, and modern eclectic interior.
