Hanging lamp - Metal - Capiz shell pieces (Placuna placenta)

Pendant lamp of extreme research and rarity. Dating from the postmodern period and coming from France, we present this geometric and absolutely Pop lighting, made of lacquered metal, accompanied by 4 exquisite pieces of Capiz Shell (Placuna Placenta) known as the “glass oyster,” assembled and hand-edged with artisanal binding in gilded brass wire. The surface shows natural grains, all unique, with a typical iridescent, changing texture and iridescent reflections, indeed joined manually with a gold mosaic seal. We note the rarity of the yellow color, which enhances the Pop aesthetic, and is sought-after and unusual compared with the more common white and gray cascading versions. We photographed it with three different types of bulbs; what emerges (thanks to the superb finish of the panels) is this translucent radiance of the rays, always creating warm and subdued atmospheres, truly unique. It can also be used as a surface-support (table, shelves, floor…) with simple modifications. It will be protected as usual with extreme safety; the panels will be dismantled and individually edged one by one, and once at the destination they must be inserted very easily but with great caution.
