Henri Seghers Jr. was a Belgian (Antwerp) artist born in 1848 and died in 1919. He was the son of the calligrapher Henri Seghers Sr. and was a painter, draughtsman, watercolourist and etcher. He gained fame for his marine paintings. His works hold not only artistic but also documentary value. As in this colourful cityscape of Liège.
