Original edition of the period issued from the presses of Jamet Mettayer, famous printer to the king. The work is adorned with a superb title framed by a medallion engraved with the royal arms. Elegant half-leather binding with corners and a smooth spine adorned with gold motifs and fleurons, lined with superb marbled paper flyleaves of a later period (18th/19th century style). Very fine condition, with clean margins, splendid decorated initials and wood-engraved borders. Fine copy.
