Hermès - PARIS QUI ROULE by Hugo Grygkar. Bandana - Foulard

Magnificent Hermès silk twill bandana titled "Paris qui roule", designed by artist Hugo Grygkar in 1951, reissued in 2006. This one is the second edition. Hand-rolled. Made in France. Hermès Paris logo, Hermès C copyright. Presence of a care label. A bit of history: "One could almost hear the trotting of horses and the clatter of fiacres, carriages on the pavements of the capital, so precise and realistic are the carriages drawn by Hugo Grygkar. In motion, cars and harnessed teams parade across the silk of this bold square." According to Arfon’s Dictionary of Art Squares (edition), it is considered quite rare and fairly sought after (last photo). Excellent condition. Unused. Kept in its box. Will be carefully packaged and shipped with tracking number.
