Alle Auktionen / Zeitgenössische Kunst / Hildegard Stehr - stilleven met appels
Oil on canvas Dimensions: 25 x 20 cm. Framed 32 x 27 cm. Signed on the back. This painting shows a beautifully balanced composition with apples as central objects. The colors carefully coordinated enhance the whole and contribute to a harmonious appearance. A digital certificate of authenticity is included with the work. Rhythm and structure form the core of Hildegard Stehr's work. Initially trained as a graphic designer at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Den Bosch, she developed a visual language in which order and irregularity challenge each other. Her work is characterized by rhythmically built-up planes, stacked forms, and a dynamic play of light and shadow. Stehr plays with contrasts such as smooth and rough, cut and crack, strength and vulnerability. Her apparent simplicity is the result of careful consideration. The artist is regularly invited to exhibitions. Her work is in private collections in Europe and beyond.
