HONG KONG (SAR). Mercantile Bank of India Limited. 5 Dollars, 1.12.1937. P-235c. KNB11e. PMG Very Fine 25 Net. Restoration. A brightly printed large format 5 Dollars with green borders encasing orange and yellow sun ray motifs, the coastal scene at upper centre in the style of Chinnery. One of the key dates for this note. Expert repairs enhance the overall appearance of the note, but the colours remain intense and original in the unaffected areas, making this note a respectable example. PMG Comments "Restoration."
