Splendid and imposing 95x75 vanity mirror made of wood with a large multi-level bombé profile, lime green lacquer, gold-plated and decorated at the cardinal points. Scenic, beautiful in appearance and form, it stands out for its large profile divided across multiple levels; its greatest asset is the refined green salvia/olive fade lacquer, a soft shade of Venetian 18th century. The innermost profile, decorated with an embossed moulding, is entirely gilded and “aged,” creating a play of light and shadow that harmonizes perfectly with the green lacquer. On the symmetric mirror with a cross configuration, the four exquisite mouldings applied at the vertical axis and the horizontal axis stand out. At the center of each moulding a prestigious composition of crumpled acanthus leaves, flanked by scrolls and shell motifs that emerge from a progressive shade blending into the green of the frame and merging with the oval structural elements. The frame features an imposing three-dimensionally shaped profile that moves from the outside toward the inside. The structure shows a significant bombatura (bulge) that flexes into a concave curve (gola), before narrowing toward the mirror. This alternation makes ambient light glide over the green salvia lacquer, creating areas of high brightness on the bulges and soft shadows in the hollows, visually increasing the depth of the mirror on the wall. The color contrast between the green hue and the brilliance of the gold makes this piece an extremely versatile furnishing element, perfect for both classic interiors and contemporary design spaces.
