As usual Cherres is always exploring our relationship with our surroundings specifically organic objects and shapes sometimes recognizable other times not but intriguing nonetheless. I carefully hand stretch my own unprimed canvases to ensure they will not buckle or wrinkle in the frame. I also choose a higher grade canvas than the pre-stretched store bought ones.
