An elegant and highly detailed antique desktop writing set (inkwell with integrated letter rack) made of heavy cast brass/bronze.This exquisite collectors' piece is designed in the ornate Neo-Renaissance/Revival style, characteristic of the late 19th or early 20th century. The set features two symmetrical ink reservoirs with hinged lids, a grooved pen tray at the front, side carrying handles, and a central vertical section designed to hold letters or documents. General condition: Very good antique condition with a beautiful, uncleaned authentic age patina. Cast details and the foundry stamp remain crisp and sharp. No structural cracks or major damage.Inlays/Inserts: Please note, the original glass or ceramic inkwell inserts are missing. Photos are part of the description. This item will be carefully packed, with lots of protective material and in a sturdy shipping box. Shipping with insurance and tracking code.
