Bronze ring with oval bezel and axial engraving – 10th–15th century AD A bronze ring with a broad oval bezel and an incised design arranged around a central axis. Short angular strokes on either side form an almost symmetrical composition, without a demonstrable alphabetic reading. The shoulders widen towards the head and retain traces of linear decoration. Turquoise-green patina combines with brown areas and pale deposits, with abrasion around the bezel edge. The central axis organises the composition and is flanked by shorter strokes that create a repeated, almost ladder-like effect. The oval perimeter encloses this arrangement without a clearly readable surrounding legend. On the shoulders, traces of linear treatment extend the ornament towards the hoop. The turquoise areas of the patina make some details more visible, while deposits soften others. The design is described in terms of its structure and surviving marks, without translating it into a personal name or assigning it to a particular language.
