Lotto 12 Historic Trieste Postcards - Series "La Nuova Italia Redenta" (1918-1919) - Homogeneous Series / New Splendid and rare homogeneous series of 12 original vintage postcards, 100% authentic, entirely dedicated to the city of Trieste in the period immediately after the end of World War I. The series commemorates the historic annexation of the city to the Kingdom of Italy. Series name: La Nuova Italia Redenta Dating: 1918 - 1919 (Armistice period and early post-war) Quantity: 12 postcards (all with different subjects, no duplicates) Condition: NEW / UNUSED. The back is completely clean, free of writing, stamps or postal marks. The paper is in excellent condition for the era, with well-preserved corners and edges and good image freshness (as in the photos). Graphic Features: The postcards feature the refined and identical coordinated patriotic frame: top-left corner with the Italian tricolor, red inscription "LA NUOVA ITALIA REDENTA" and top-right corner with the Trieste coat of arms flanked by the Savoy shield or the white cross on a red field. The lot also includes the valuable literary postcard with Carducci’s verses.
