Rich and varied collection consisting of 101 vintage postcards (used and unused), dating from the late 19th century to the mid-20th century. The collection is kept inside a ring-bound album with protective transparent sheets. Album dimensions: 25.5 x 23 x 4 cm Postcard subjects: - Ethnography and Photography: Popular scenes, indigenous/colonial portraits, brigands/traditional costumes (e.g., Corsica) and subjects of rural life. - Advertising and Graphics: Promotional postcards - Sports and Leisure: Vintage illustrations featuring skiing and mountain themes - Illustrated and Greeting: Christmas, Easter motifs, flowers, animals, landscapes and romantic subjects in Art Nouveau / Art Deco style. Condition The postcards are overall in good vintage condition. Some copies may show the classic signs of time (handwritten notes, postmarks, slight yellowing or small corner marks), which attest to their authenticity. Album included in the sale.
