The composition features a row of sun-drenched, white-washed buildings nestled at the base of a soft blue mountain range, with a central church spire puncturing the skyline. In the foreground, a traditional wooden fishing boat with two figures rests on the calm, turquoise waters, which beautifully mirror the coastal architecture and the hazy light of a clear day. The work is signed “J. Domènech” and dated ’95 in a bold red script in the lower-left corner. The artist employs a balanced, naturalistic palette and fluid brushwork to capture the peaceful, rhythmic atmosphere of seaside life. Housed in a classic tiered wooden frame with a deep burgundy velvet inlay and gold-toned accents, the painting is in excellent condition. This piece is a quintessential example of late 20th-century Spanish landscape painting, ideal for adding a sense of Mediterranean tranquility to a collection.
