Jacques Fath (French, founded 1937). Two piece lavender-grey suit comprising one single breasted blazer jacket with shoulder pads, large gold toned "JF" branded acrylic buttons, and two large front pockets; and one midi length pencil skirt with large gold toned "JF" branded buttons down front side and belt loops at waist. Both marked "Jacques Fath Paris / Made in France", both size 12, 100% wool with 100% polyester lining. Approximate dimensions: Provenance: From the Gaston Collection, acquired through generational transfer from the Estate of Louise Frederick Hays (1881-1951), wife of Senator James E. Hays; the Estate of Louise Frederick Hays Gaston and Dr. Joseph H. Gaston III; and the Estate of Dr. J. Harper Gaston and Dr. Anne Elizabeth Hendrick Gaston. The multi-generational collection was housed at two notable Georgia homes�Twin Oaks (a National Register Greek Revival estate in Greenville, Georgia and Rhodes Hall (the �castle on Peachtree Street� that functioned a Georgia State Archives from 1930-1965).
