This type of vase is an antique Japanese collar vase. Made in blue-and-white porcelain. Made in the Arita region in Japan. The vase is hand-painted in a deep cobalt blue, traditional floral design with birds and flowers. The wavy collar (ruffled rim) at the top is characteristic of this model.
