He is considered a visionary who has known how to push into uncharted territories, creating works that are not easily codified. Javel abandoned an initial free and gestural figuration to devote himself to a experimentation that uses painting itself as both medium and object of representation. Moving between different stylistic phases, he has developed an unmistakable way of painting that plays with matter itself. In his career he reworked colors used by artists of the past, mastering them in precise composite portions, diligently exploring the reading of daily life and the fleeting dimensions of life to fix them in time.
